When I finally decided to do the show, I only had two weeks to learn the choreography and the songs in French.
All those songs reflect all the people that live within me.
Probably some of the songs I never even really listened to the lyrics. Half of them I'd hear off the radio and was probably singing the wrong words and didn't even know it.

Happy songs are very difficult to write. How many truly great upbeat songs are there?
If you put all the songs together that I've written on band records, and put it up next to my solo record, there's definitely a different kind of feel than Billy's songs.
To me, the musical is best when it's a musical comedy. So if you have a very, very funny show, and very good, funny songs, that's what the musical does best.
