We owe our troops more than rhetoric; we owe them a real plan. The Administration has yet to put forward a strategy for achieving stability in Iraq, ending the conflict, and handing over sovereignty to the people of Iraq and the new Iraqi government.

If the United States were to cut and run from Iraq, we would send a message of weakness that would embolden our terrorist enemies across the globe. A failed Iraq would destabilize the entire region and undermine U.S. national security for decades to come.

Victory is the only option. And we will be victorious in Iraq.

Victory is the most important aspect in Iraq, because victory in Iraq will help us have victory in the War on Terror.

The United States is not for democracy in Iraq, it's for setting up a puppet government.

The ongoing strife in Iraq, and the billions of dollars that the President is seeking to continue that war, give me little comfort that this Administration has learned from its mistakes in Iraq.

Mission accomplished? The mission in Iraq, as laid out by President Bush and Vice President Cheney, has failed.

The money the president wants to borrow for Iraq will come directly out of the American taxpayer wallets in the form of Medicare and Social Security receipts. That's your money.

The young patriots now returning from war in Iraq and Afghanistan and other deployments worldwide are joining the ranks of veterans to whom America owes an immense debt of gratitude.

I also know that there are a lot of people around the United States who want my husband to win and who are for him and who support our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. And I feel good about those people, too.

I sent American troops to Iraq to make its people free, not to make them American. Iraqis will write their own history and find their own way.

I believe in the transformational power of liberty. I believe that the free Iraq is in this nation's interests. I believe a free Afghanistan is in this nation's interest.

America is a friend to the people of Iraq. Our demands are directed only at the regime that enslaves them and threatens us. When these demands are met, the first and greatest benefit will come to Iraqi men, women and children.

Iraq is no diversion. It is a place where civilization is taking a decisive stand against chaos and terror, we must not waver.

The once all-powerful ruler of Iraq was found in a hole, and now sits in a prison cell.
